Is Anyone There???

I couldn't sleep last night and found myself laying in bed thinking...I am always there for people when they need someone to talk to about their problems or issues, but it seems that when I need someone to talk with about stuff going on in my life, no one is around.  Why is that?

Matthew 7:12 says "Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets."

Even though that is said, why do people still break that rule?  Personally, I believe that the popular people are too stuck up to even realize that the Laws of God actually apply to them. People that are popular in school see the less popular kids as dirt.  For some reason, popular people give the impression they believe they are better than everyone else.

As the saying goes...karma is a 'bleep', and it'll come back and bite you in the butt.

  2. You are right Karma is a "bleep". You just keep yourself honest and true to who you are and you will be fine. When the "popular" kids get out of school and discover they are just another bee in the hive, then you will see a huge difference. If that is you haven't outgrown them by leaps and bounds. <3

  3. Josh, I agree with Jan...be true to yourself. Be a leader, not a follower. Kids are mean in general and even meaner in high school. Once you all graduate, they will not be so 'high and mighty' in the real world and if they try to be will find they'll get knocked down a few notches.
You Bible verse is correct and you should continue to follow it...treat others as you would want to be treated. That does not necessarily mean that you will be treated that way, only that you are doing right by treating others the way you WANT to be treated. Live honest. I know that you have heard me say this a thousand times but I'm going to say it again..."what comes around, goes around".

Thank God that there is an opposite side to that, as well...

  7. Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate you friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.You are on the right track...keep going, and God bless you always.

  9. You didn't come to me lol...

Well, you choose your intimate friends to whom you could share your thoughts. But it is also true most of the time that even if we have found someone to talk with, it's not enough and we still look for other people.

My exbf encouraged me to write in my journals and pour out all my thoughts when he wasn't around. Most of the times, I get my laughing Jesus and talk with Him.

Oh well, I don't believe much in karma... I believe in the more positive things that are yet to come...
